Capturing these tiny, lightning-fast crabs on camera was no easy task and required immense patience. This particular shot stands out, beautifully showcasing their shy yet inquisitive nature. Painted ghost crabs are remarkably speedy, capable of running sideways at up to 16 km/h to evade predators — or the lens of a persistent photographer!
